Marie’s styling workshop: Beata in different lengths – Which length should I choose?

During the summers, women have so many options to choose from that we sometimes struggle to decide what to wear – trousers, shorts, capri pants, leggings, skirts, dresses, tunics… It becomes even more challenging when it comes to choosing the length of a dress or tunic. There are so many lengths to choose from – short tunics, long tunics, knee-length styles, and full-length dresses.

The dress is a wonderful garment that suits many occasions. During the summer, it is cool and airy, and in the winter, you can layer it with a pair of warming leggings. Some people prefer shorter tunic-style dresses over full-length ones, while others enjoy long dresses. You have probably noticed that you feel more comfortable in certain lengths than others, or perhaps you are a dress lover and enjoy all styles and lengths.

What should one consider when choosing the length of a dress? Let me explain briefly.

The general rule often mentioned is that tall individuals look great in long dresses, while shorter individuals rock shorter styles. Medium-length dresses tend to suit everyone, but if you are shorter, it’s advisable to choose models that don’t go below the knees. However, the most important aspect is the fit of the dress on your body. The key is how the cut flatters your specific body shape.

Now, let’s dive deep into the world of BEATA and I’ll show you all its variations. Lovely Beata is a tunic/dress style that has been with us for several years. It has become a classic garment that we occasionally bring in new variations of. A few times a year, it is released in new patterns, but now it also varies in length. The original Beata is like a longer tunic or a shorter dress. Beata is made from a polyester-viscose blend that drapes beautifully, and its A-line princess cut is very flattering. It is tailored in just the right places to be flattering for most body types.

Beata Mini is the shortest version we have of Beata. The blouse is 20 cm shorter than the original Beata, and it has short sleeves. It matches perfectly with harem pants or the airy Hilma trousers.

The original Beata, Beata Original, has half-length sleeves and is a bit longer. On shorter women, it is more like a dress, while on taller women, it works as a tunic that can be paired with leggings. I am 169 cm tall, and as you can see, the tunic ends a bit above my knees.

This Beata is the same length as the previous model, but it has long sleeves. It can be paired with capri pants, leggings, or worn with bare legs.

Beata Midi is a model that reaches approximately to the knees. This version fully covers my knees. The sleeves are long, and the neckline is round. This length works particularly well for individuals of medium to tall height, but if you are shorter, you can also wear it as a full-length dress.

Beata Maxi is our full-length model with a beautifully flowing skirt section. It has short sleeves and a round neckline.

Everyone can find their very own Beata ❤️

Hugs, Marie

PS. The short-sleeved, medium-length Beata was initially named “Elina”. However, to make it easier for those who love this model, we have decided that all garments in this design, regardless of neckline, sleeve length, or length, will be called Beata!
